REIDROMIN is an association of salts (electrolyties), glycine and dextrose which are found in optimal concentrations in order to improve water absorption and electrolytic balance. Actually, sodium, dextrose and glycine have got an influence on water absorption. Bicarbonate makes easier sodium absorption. Hence, potassium and bicarbonate salts are necessary to replace the lack of these substances in case of intensive sweating and athletic efforts.
